CLUB MANAGER ROCK ANDERSON. Entering his third season as Hyde Park Tennis Club Manager, Rock is a 1979 Graduate of the University of Kentucky and is a former KHSAA four-sport athlete and football All-American. Rock has been a popular recreational tennis player in Greater Cincinnati Area since 2003. He played competitive baseball and softball, while coaching youth baseball, basketball and soccer for over thirty years.
He says he would not have made the transition to tennis without the patience of partner, Judi Stayton, or without the professional instruction of Oscar Wegner, or without reading every book ever written about tennis in the Library of Congress. Rock has either been a doubles partner of, or played against, almost every known tennis player in the Tri-State and in every tennis facility in the region.
In 2008 was invited to join the Indoor Tennis Club staff, educated and mentored by Dan Bailey and Brent Cable in the fine art of clay court care and maintenance after a 25 year career in the fine-jewelry industry as a sales manager, guild gemologist and designer.

Assistant Manager Brent Cable is a terrific and well-regarded tennis player, and is recognized for his years of service on staff at the Indoor Tennis Club in Madeira. Many new tennis players and Club members very much appreciate Brent’s helpful work in finding matches for them and organizing doubles groups at both the Indoor and HPTC.
As evidence of his prowess on the tennis court, Brent and Harvey Katz are current men's doubles champions at Cincinnati Tennis Club. While many people know Brent as one of the fastest and more skilled tennis players in the area, many do not know this athlete bowled several perfect games before walking away from that sport in the mid-70's to pursue other interests.
Brent is also known for his charitable fund raising works acquiring Christmas toys for needy children and bingo activities for residents of area retirement homes.
Brent is retired from Cincinnati Milacron. Besides a demanding tennis playing schedule, his considerable charitable work, devoted work at both the Indoor and HPTC, Brent strings tennis racquets and works with Dan Bailey opening and closing many of the area’s most popular local clay court tennis facilities.
